In my proposal I suggested I mainly focus on researching this week and make a start on the composition. I achieved one of the goals above this week which is doing a extensive amount of research and acquire skills to compose and perform Neo soul music. I learnt the method of voicing those iconic sounding chord as well as how to utilise suspended chords and create dissonance with altered chords. However I did not begin composing any tracks, which is disappointing, I will immediately begin to compose as soon as the next week starts.
I am still confident in the current states of my EP and I am learning lots as I dig deeper into the genre.
